Cody

Astro vom Mountain View

D1 S1 HN HD-A1 FW:SG

Astro Vom Mountain view is a hard-hunting, motivated stud. He has a very meticulous and thorough search with an amazing desire to retrieve.

From an early age, we could tell that this dog was something special. At only 12 weeks old, he was roaming the sage brush seas for Sage Grouse and you could really see his natural ability. At 16 weeks, he retrieved a wounded sharptail to hand. Wild birds were a large part of his training early on, and we believe that is what has shaped him into the methodical, dedicated hunter he is now.

In the home, he exhibits a calm demeanor and is very cooperative in his training. He is very eager to please, and he amazes us how quickly he is able to pick up new things.

While with other dogs, you will notice Astro carrying that calm, patient demeanor into those interactions and is great hunting along side dogs both younger and older.

Kaycee

Chloe vom Prärieflügel

D1 AZP3 HN HD-A2 FW:SG1 OCD-Frei

Kaycee is everything someone could want out of DK. Calm and loving around people and children, with an unmatched fire and flair in the field. Kaycee has a commanding presence in the field and has proven herself many times on wild game.
Kaycee has shown a natural steadiness since 10 weeks old when we first ran her on birds; since then she has proven herself on Ruffed Grouse, Dusky Grouse, Sharptailed Grouse, Sage Grouse, and Partridge.
Her success on wild game does not end there, she is on fur, and has handled raccoons, and earned her Hardness Card (HN).
She has hunted waterfowl on creeks, rivers, lakes, and ponds and has a phenomenal drive to retrieve and excellent behavior in the blind, staying quiet and allowing for an enjoyable hunt.

One of Kaycee’s top attributes is her water drive. Spring, Summer, Fall, or even our blistering Idaho Winter, Kaycee’s water work is top notch. She is a strong swimmer, with as thorough of a search on the water as you could ask for. Kaycee is a highly intelligent dog, always thinking a step ahead, with a search that adapts to the cover.

Cora

Annikin vom Salbei

Cora is the newest addition to the Tetontal family. Coming in the late summer of 2023 from Salbei Deutsch Kurzhaars, she brought a new attitude to the string. A laid back female with a commanding presence, Cora has a bright future ahead of her in the field and in the blind.

Cora is a closer working dog with outstanding cooperation. She carries her head high in the field and works scent like a seasoned veteran. Her Schwarzschimmel coat is thick with good coverage for protection against brush and our cold Idaho winters.
